“Just because a woman lives in the suburbs doesn’t mean she should suffer a lack of interesting fashion choices,” explains Crimson Mim owner Christine Campbell, when asked the inspiration behind the opening of her first boutique. Named after her favorite color and beloved grandmother, Mim, Crimson Mim opened its doors in early 2005. Carrying an inspired collection of footwear, the boutique earned instant street cred with customers and press alike, quickly growing to include a hand-selected collection of apparel and accessories to compliment those fantastic shoes. Carrying both in-demand designers and as-yet undiscovered talents, Crimson Mim delivers a curated mix from 3.1 Phillip Lim, Derek Lam, Raquel Allegra, Rachel Comey, Freda Salvador, Velvet by Graham and Spencer, Demylee, A.L.C, NSF Clothing, Rodebjer, Tibi, RtA Brand, and so much more!
Crimsonmim.com is a virtual replica of the in-store experience, allowing customers to peruse Crimson Mim's gorgeous collections. While the reach is global, the service feels local; the goal is for women around the world to feel they are literally a click away from a place where they can discover, be inspired, and of course shop to their hearts’ content! Also debuting is Crimson Mim’s new blog, which features everything from sneak peeks at new arrivals, styling tips and advice from the Crimson Mim staff, behind-the-scenes pics at market appointments/fashion week/etc., designer dossiers, special guest bloggers and anything else the Mim girls think will inspire and delight.
